Replies to museum members PMs

SteveMoore & I shared Some Pm's a few weeks Back,.. the time between each pm was like 3 days. & That was on Both ends.. Sometimes with me,.. I like to make sure I try to get my Wording right,.. or depending on what it is,.. I'd like to give it some thought before I respond to the Topic. If I ever Offended anyone,.. I am sorry.. I didn't mean too.

Now that you mention it, I never got a response about the dog figure I took the time to take a pic of and pm it to you. I thought it might make a nice dog for your Lobo figure.

I have also had people send e-mails regarding purchasing of figures and then set a price and date then never here from them again,??? Does that mean you still want the figure or not???Now that P!$$3$ me off!!! Have the balls to just say sorry I changed my mind.Or my wife won't let me buy it...

I have had a couple that never answered me. I just took it as a 'they weren't interested', but I would still have appreciated a "No, I'm not interested" or "Leave me alone, freak!!" or "Bugger off, yank!". With no reply, I am left wondering if they didn't get it or something.

See, now these are the type of things I'm talking about.

I never said everyone "had to" reply, but if you go out of your way to PM them and say, "I seen your post in MARKETPLACE and I have the item you're looking for" or if they keep bumping their thread up offering something for sale and you ask them if the item they offered in their thread is still available, don't you think that should be responded to?

No, I don't expect a reply the same day, or even two or three days after that. But still, some form of reply would be nice. It'd be like if you're selling on eBay and your customer never gets back to you, you have to admit that'd be quite annoying if they decided they just didn't want to pay you so they just don't bother with you.

And to you Mr. Txteach, no, no one is being "sensitive". Someone is saying that good manners regarding sincere PMs should be answered. Apparently you don't give a rat's a** and that's fine. But let me ask you this: Wouldn't you tell your students that that's the correct thing to do? Don't you instill in them "treat others as you want to be treated", or does that only apply when it's something that you find "important? I suppose telling them jokes is better than teaching them social skills that will do them a lot better later on in their lives.

At least twice, I've had PMs that didn't receive a reply. It's annoying when you're responding to someone's post for trades then they don't reply. Oh well, I just move on!

Sometimes if does get annoying when you don't get a friendly message back.

I'm like Mike, I usually cut off communication altogether as well.

One or two times that has happened no big deal 98% of the time everybody replies.I like to think I have replied to everybody else as well.If not sorry.

wow, someone is a bit sensitive. Move on to someone else to PM if you don't get a response. Iv'e had it happen to me a few times and It didn't ruin my day.

Wouldn't that make it PMSensitive...sorry didn't mean to go there, sometimes my brain has a mind of it's own...

I like to let my PMs ferment so they have a little kick before I send them out

Most people i've PM'ed answer me back pretty quickly ......

I also make an effort to answer all replies with the same speediness ...

If someone doesn't answer me, I put them on my own personal SCHIT-LIST.

I just don't PM or talk to them anymore.
