Not surprised to hear this at all.“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

I can't understand why they don't restrict air travel.
It's like everyone has the right to spread lethal diseases all over the globe.
If, for whatever reason, you are in an infected area, stay there until it's been wiped out..

That speech the chief of the CDC gave earlier this week reminded me of the speech every head of the CDC gives in every zombie outbreak movie about twenty minutes in, right before everything turns really bad.Comment

Long story, short: the government doesn't want to offend anyone. Right now, the President of Liberia is more concerned about inhibiting the spread of Ebola to the States than our own politicians. In fact, if Duncan survives, the Liberians are going after him legally. I'm glad they are, too--he lied to them.

1st U.S.fatality:
The first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States died Wednesday morning in a Dallas hospital Wednesday, a hospital spokesman said.
Thomas Eric Duncan was pronounced dead at 7:51 a.m. at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, where he was admitted Sept. 28 and has been kept in isolation, according to spokesman Wendell Watson.
Duncan's condition was changed on Saturday from serious to critical.
Duncan carried the deadly virus with him from his home in Liberia, though he showed no signs when he left for the United States. He arrived in Dallas Sept. 20 and fell sick a few days later.

So now who thinks this is not a major problem?
The nurse got it from him, traveled around and might have spread it to her boyfriend and others....*** is the cdc doing? The head of the CDC said maybe they should have locked everything down....no kidding ? you dont say!
It now has a 70 percent kill rate...up from 50 just weeks ago.
The head in the sand methods are not going to work well with this.......Comment
