Is spiking trees illegal where you live?

I thought it was made a federal felony in the us since the late eighties.
This is a very dangerous potentially life threatening suggestion!!!

I used to log in the nineties and hit a few spiked trees in my time if your not careful this could mame or kill you.
Best case scenario it buggers up your chain or bar.

I would remove or edit this suggestion.
