Sorry to hear it, hope things pick up. Hasn't been the best year, but not the worst. Basically two long time "good" situations have come to an end for me. After 14 years of having my stuff/brand online that came to an end in May. Increasing demands at my job and a changing internet did me in. Feels horrible when you are basically forced out instead of saying " I don't want to do this anymore". Which ties into my job. For years it's been mostly good as I've solved longtime inventory issues they had and pretty much mastered the warehouse management software we were using. Earlier this year a decision. mostly based on a greed, was made to go with a "better" system. i was told my job would be easier. Well, this new system has made things WORSE not only for me but for everyone. Work has been a headache since they put his in. On top of that we are merging with another company. While we are still going to be the distribution center, changes have already happened at our corporate office. Even though our company name is going to the dominant one the top guy (pres & CEO) is the top guy the company we are merging with. The #2 guy (COO) is from our side, but to be blunt while not a bad guy personally is a corporate guy all the way. Saving anyone's job probably isn't high of his priority list. Keep hoping things will improve and if not I can at least ride it out until I've all my debts are paid off at the end of next year.
