Does 2014 suck for anyone else as much as me?

Man I tell ya guys when it rains it pours...Let me start off by saying that I know things could be 100 times worse and I am grateful for what I have.. but lordy lordy throw me a freakin bone here

1- My son doesn't seem to be showing any improvement with his Autism ( poor thing spends his life in all sorts of therapies)
2-The Ultimate Warrior passes away
3-LeBron James leaves the Miami Heat ( sorry I'm a huge sports fan, and this helps me get away from reality at times)
4-3 weeks ago they tried breaking in my home and destroyed my storage shed, one of my hurricane impact windows $1600! and took god knows what..But they didn't get inside the house
5-last week i get viral Meningitis and I thought I was gonna die..it's been a week and I still feel like crap but at least I'm out of the hospital

sorry guys, just needed a little venting since I can't do it on facebook and get my wife depressed...

hopefully you guys are doing better, but I can't wait till 2015

Wife just had major surgery.
Looking forward to a change as well.

2014 brought me my daughter and my wife's business is booming. Everything is great here, but if it's any consolation, 2009 was basically, for me, what this year is for you. I totally get the need to vent.....it really helps.

2014 has certainly had it's ups and downs for me, I just pray that it balances out in the end. Autism is a rough one, I feel for you, my second born Son when he was young was diagnosed with what they called P.D.D.-N.O.S. it means pervasive development disease not otherwise specified, fancy way of saying they don't know what the hell it is, but they classify it under the same umbrella with Autism because he has some of the autistic traits, but not all. We certainly had a time with him growing up, but we kept trucking along trying to do the best that we could to teach him and get him through school. He graduated in 2011 and has been living with us and helping out around the house while we have tried to get him motivated to try and get a job and this past week it finally happened! My boy finished his first day on the job at McDonalds today and I am proud of him. He has certainly come a long way from that little boy that wouldn't talk or want to interact with others, to a fine young man with a job! I pray that God gives you strength to endure the hardships raising a child with Autism brings and the joys that you feel when they finally accomplish a hard fought goal that comes so easy to most of us.

Right there with ya bro! I've had major business trouble, my hard drive crashed without backup and two weeks ago I got in a motorcycle wreck and totaled my Harley and my leg. Hopefully I can start pt in six weeks but in the meantime.....

I'm ready for this year to be over too

2013 was the most challenging year of my life, but I've had huge improvements this year - having a great family and the best wife in the world helps - so all I can say is that I really hope what goes down must go up for you too!

Yeah, 2014 is sucking for me to. Being unemployed since Jan and trying to keep 3 kids in college. You do the math. And I hate not having toy money. I've missed so many deals this year so far.

And I won't bore everyone with all the others things that have gone wrong this year. All I can do is keep trying and pray things turn around soon.
