We've talked about people getting married or having anniversaries lots of times. On the topic of sexuality, as long as they are not links to porn sites, the female members here politely ignore discussions and pics of women the guys here find hot.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

He he he... There was absolutely no way that this thread was going to do anything but cause people to choose sides. Regardless of what side of the issue you come down on, it took less than two pages to come to name-calling.

Again, we've talked about people getting married many times before. People are going to want to share the news of friends, family or themselves getting married. It's not against the rules. I, personally, think marriage is a wonderful thing. My parents are approaching their 51 year wedding anniversary. It should be a joyous thing to talk about.

Respectfully, you did insult gay members, by marginalizing us & saying we are not welcome here.

                  I can tolerate a differing opinion--in fact, I think it's important to try to--but I refuse to be subjected to a double-standard.

Sorry if that's how it came off. Never said you aren't welcome here.

The world I see everyday is so negative and terrible. I deal with criminals, drug dealers, lyers, sex offenders, murderers everyday.

I've been deployed, seen War, lost brothers and sisters in the time of war. My own Brother who we great up together never came back from Iraq.

Seeing a happy couple regardless of the preference is a breath of fresh air!

I'm not prepared to moderate all of this from a cell phone in San Diego, so I'll leave it to my fellow mods.

But Hector, as a fellow queer friendly Bay Area native I can say you are being smug and obnoxious. Love ya bro, but stereotypes and assumptions are bad for everyone.

I'm OK, just disgruntled--thank you for the apology.

This wedding was one of my nephews whom I love very much.

If it's a choice between God and a family member I choose the family member every time.

Yup, been to a few in my time and like any wedding, a wonderful fun time always to be had.
The best one was my former neighbor and good friend Charlene Strong.

                              Good for you Mikey!

In the words of Scott, Mazel Tov!! and I'll throw in..Salud!!
