Cool. I've always been a romantic. I think it's sweet gay couples can now have that experience.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'd prefer not to see threads like this on a toy site. Not really the place.

Feel free to complain to the Museum mods

I'm happy to comply with whatever they decide is appropriate and not appropriate

Until then, I make no apologizes

            I agree with you, Mikey.

I don't find this thread offensive at all, not one bit.

Yes, you don't like it...don't bother posting in this thread, and move along.

I have not attended a gay marriage, because I don't attend ANY marriages.

Straight, gay, single cell organism, neptunian, or whatever...lol.

Sincerely, a single dude...until the end of times...

Didn't say I was offended fellas. Just sexuality, religion or politics are three things I would rather see discussed elsewhere is all. Don't read too much into it

We've discussed many marriages, anniversaries, and all sorts of family milestones here--is this one too taboo?
This forum & MegoMeet have proven to me how inclusive the Museum can be.

Personally, I'm looking forward to participating in just such a ceremony in Ohio someday. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Mikey.

yep, but only as staff catering. This was way back in the mid 90's as well, which is strange because I just googled it and it says Ontario didn't officially recognize same sex marriages until 2003. It may have been a common law marriage?

I've attended many different weddings. One of my first careers was a wedding planner with our family business. It's all good.

Religion and politics are off limits...it never says the topic of sexuality is banned here...as long as it's not crass and x-rated...a simple gay couple marriage is neither of those things.

Well I guess we ARE going there.

I don't preach about how I go to church or how my kids have their First Communion, etc because not everyone agrees with religion and I respect that this is a site to talk toys. I'm not offended by the thread, but I don't want to read about who your voting for, gay couples, what church you go to etc. And before you call me a prude, I have already received a few pms privately from members who agree with my comment.

Not looking to have this closed or taken down or stir any pots . You guys are cool with me. I'm just making a statement that I personally don't feel this belongs here any more than updates on religious beliefs or politics. If the mods are okay with this, than it's their site not mine.
