Brian - I'm not sure if it's the same guy as the guy in Scarborough, I know this guy has been in North York for at least 10 years.

Chris, I've got a couple of larger posters done at this size, not quite the same size as a movie poster one sheet though. The ones I have haven't warped.

But - I'm slowly getting everything I have redone with my framing guy.

You're correct of course, the guy I use is still around according his website:

That is the best website 1997 had to offer.

He used a real heavy board, I have stuff from college that looks great.

        Sweet poster!

I bought my little brother a Spanish poster for Death Wish 3 a few years ago for Christmas. Problem was that it was an odd size (28-7/8" x 42-3/8"). I ended up just ordering the metal frame components online and then had a piece of plexiglass cut for it at Lowes and a piece of foamcore backing cut at Michaels. That puts you close if not over that $60 mark for materials.

You might want to take a close look at Michaels if you have one nearby, or just take a walk in the readymade frames of a bigger craft store. Though they typically only have up to 27x40, I've seen 27x41s occasionally with those frames with precut mats and multiple openings where you can put a dozen pictures in one frame.

Thanks Steve. Yeah, when you start dealing with foreign posters (which I do like), you start having some weird sizes.

I'll be doing a bit of shopping at Ikea and Michaels this weekend to see if I can find anything. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.
