On sunday morning I was coming home off a job and was listening to American Top 40. Our local station plays the classic episodes every sunday morning. Its always a errie silence sunday mornings where I live as most people are still asleep. I was thinking about the whole media fiasco with him and his family but yet thinking about his work. I didn't listen to American top 40 in the 70's but listened and watched his t.v. show religiously in the early 80's (80 to 84 right before my family got MTV). He probably passed as I was driving home sunday morning.
He was HUGE deal in the music industry for many years. What amazes me the most is that they not only recorded every amercan top 40 but the sound quality is amazing for something that was recorded 30 to 40 plus years ago!
