Speaking of Neymar...he did get hit pretty hard in the back...the guy is out...now the team who beats Brazil...that victory will be somewhat tainted.
The main culprit here is not even that dirty arse Colombian who kneed Neymar...is the friggin' archaic and corrupt organization known as FIFA. The first thing they should do, if they have on ounce of brain matter left...is to implement MULTIPLE referees, like in all other major pro sports...one lone ref...and two linesmen...is just not enough for today's modern game...they keep missing tons of fractions...this is getting to the point of just being laughable...screw FIFA.
So... one bites another, and causes no serious damage, and he gets 9 games sitting at home, plus to add insult to injury another 4 months to stew on it. But some dude freakin breaks a dude's back and it's all cool. Ya, FIFA blows.
So the Colombian fella who kneed Neymar in the back and ends up breaking it, hardly a mention this morning. Suarez bites someone and all hell broke loose. Weird that.
"Supposedly" FIFA is investigating the issue to see if anything should be done to Juan Camilo Zúńiga.
An inch or two higher, and the man would be paralyzed. Surely THIS warrants a sanction or two, right? This is unsportsmanship conduct, right? FIFA is a joke, that's bought and paid for by the crooks bleeding these host countries dry.
Yeah not condoning Suarez behaviour, but this guy that kneed Neymar in the back didn't look anywhere near the ball. I noticed he has apologized quick enough, perhaps Suarez should have done the same.
Yeah, FIFA needs to get with the times and update their officiating...right down to replay. Apparently, the goal Columbia scored that was deemed offsides wasn't actually offsides because a Brazilian player touched it.

Exactly.
Half these refs don't even know the rules, unfriggin' unreal.
You'll have to excuse me guys, but FIFA really sucks!!! They shouldn't have sent Suárez home. Not only he was the best player of the tournament, but also Uruguay would be playing now semifinals against the Germans, because Brazil, with out without Neymar and Thiago Silva, is not a superlative team.
I can't help to think Scolari left some very important players out of his team, like Ronaldinho and Alexandre Patos, two guys that were playing on a high level the last months, and I think would have made a difference in this worldcup.
On a happier note, it's great to see Argentina in semis now, although there is no classy soccer in their playing. The worldcup is getting more and more exciting!
Now to watch the game between Holland and Costa Rica!
Nah, Suarez deserved to be sent packing...his history of biting in the past...sealed his fate...the dude needs some type of counseling...that's not normal behavior.
But why keep dwelling in that? Suarez is gone...he's no longer part of the World Cup...he's irrelevant to me now...moot point.
