Dutch coach Van Gaal is now crying because he says that's no way to lose a game...by penalties.

Yet that's how he beat Mexico and Costa Rica...and he was not crying then, lol.

    Screw that hypocrite, lol.

At least the Dutch can take a little bit of consolation when they steamroll past poor Brazil in the third place match, lol.

I wonder if it will be another slaughter or if Brazil will try and redeem themselves a little.

The only way Brazil can save any face would be for Germany to beat Argentina 7-0 and as much as I'd like to see that happen, I know it won't. I'll just have to settle for Germany beating Argentina 4-1.

No Fn way can Argentina get another title over Uruguay. No way. I'm pushing for Germany to tie Italy by getting their fourth title on Sunday.

                4-1 against that defense?

                Highly unlikely...

Germany is scoring a lot, they are well rested, and the crowd will be on their side (Brazilians hate Argentines).

Argentina, while having a great defense, has trouble scoring, one day less rest plus extra time and penalties...and aside from their fellow Argentine fans, everybody else in the stadium will be against them.

Yet I'm still picking Argentina to win...because of MESSI...this is his time to shine, his time to stand besides Maradona...his time for immortality.

                  Argentina 2, Germany 1

Germany to win... the lesser of two evils.

Messi did not do a whole hell of a lot against Holland. let's see if he can pick it up against Germany. I predict a win for Germany

Depends how far back in history we are going here...Germany's Nazi Party, or Argentina's Junta.

Thank God both are a thing of the past.

Germany makes awesome beers, Argentines make awesome steaks.

I'll take a medium rare Argentine porterhouse, and wash it down with a German Pilsener...it's a draw, lol.

Sure, I was just being a little flippant... I guess I was referring more to the lesser of two soccer "evils", rather than to past wars or events of socio-political history.

Never had any Argentine steak... but I'm very familiar with German beer.

Argentina used to be the world’s top per capita consumer of beef...but has been overtaken by its neighbor, Uruguay...

Consumption in the country has decreased so much over the decades that the nation recently fell from its perch as the world’s top per capita consumer of beef.

Pretty even match so far...back and forth...both teams missing great opportunities.
