I'm 43 and it doesn't bother me. Certain things about aging I don't think (thinning/graying hair for example) but otherwise outside of my job things haven't changed much for me in many years. Except for when I exercise I don't feel bad or sore. Want to feel better about your age? Find a picture of your parents at about the same age and notice how young and even vibrant they look. No one likes getting older but I think we're all good here.

There's this app I have on my phone called ageing booth. You take a pic of yourself or a friend or whatever, hit the age button and it gives a picture of you "aged" with grey hair and wrinkles. It's kinda spooky to be honest as the technology really does give a pretty accurate picture of what you'll look like in the future. Somehow it always makes me feel better because at least I don't look THAT old yet.

I don't need an app for that, I just use my mirror...

Wilford Brimley was my age when he filmed Cocoon.

Yeah, it kind of blew my mind.

That and finding out Sherman Hemsley was 36 when the first episode of The Jeffersons aired.

Another weird fact... Isabell Sanford was 20 years older than Sherman Hemsley.

I have a friend in Vegas, and it's been nine years since we've seen each other. These long-distance friendship really make you feel old when you meet up again...

While I enjoy the fact that I was a child of the 70s, and can be proud of my age b/c of that, I don't like a bad back and arthritic knees. In that respect, getting old sucks!

I'm 42, my wife left me and the kids for a newer model, my oldest daughter just graduated college 3 weeks ago and I have 2 kids who are 9 and 10 still to raise (one of whom has a severe learning disability). the years have all come to roost in a hurry thank god for the nostalgia of toys old tv shows, and old cars to remind me when the future seemed full of potential
