Man this is heart breaking to me... My idol has passed away and I don't even know what to say... I know I didn't agree with a lot of his believes and the way he conducted business with his fans.. But I loved the ultimate warrior character and always will... He was a great inspiration to me as a child.. I feel for his 2 little girls, he was a badass , a great dad and a legend!! May you rip you crazy ******* :(

I love ya man!! Always believe!!

Now back to my toy room to cry some more :(

I'm sad to see him go, but dang, what a way to go... make amends with the WWE, get inducted to the Hall of Fame, go to Wrestlemania, show up on RAW with a live mic to say bye, and instead of disappearing into obscurity, he dies. This is the stuff legends of made of.
      Well said.

I'm lucky I never sold my carded Wrestling Superstars 89 Ultimate Warrior figure...I don't have the heart to part with it.

Probably my favorite wrestler of all time...others come close (Hogan, Austin, The Rock, Muraco, Razor Ramon, Savage) but they'll only be one Ultimate Warrior. RIP old friend...

I don't have any connection to Wrestling but my first thought was about how this would crush you man.

Truly sad and shocking news. It was so cool to see him on tv over this past weekend. He was one of my favorites as well. My heart goes out to his family. RIP Ultimate Warrior.

I was never a fan of UW but, like many others my first thought was how this news would effect Damien (whom I am a big fan of).

                  RIP UW

one of my favorites of all time! I remember him as "Dingo" from the texas circuit. my favorite moment was when in wrestlemania, the honkey tonk man was taking on a "mystery" opponent for the intercontinental championship. all of a sudden you hear the ultimate warriors rock music blaring w/ honkey tonk waiting in the ring. then, in a flash, you see the warrior sprinting to the ring! he explodes on honkey tonk and wins the belt in a matter of seconds! I had never seen a championship ever switch hands so fast! I was hooked from that day! R.I.P. James Hellwig, you will be missed.

                          .......
                          I can't believe this ....
I just bought the NEW DVD last Fri ...., seen him at the HOF ...., I even ordered Wrestlemania ...., saw him on Raw ..., Bought is New Damn Shirt .... got all Warrior Crazy ..., and He's gone . Unreal.

When I hear his music ...
to this Day ...., the 10 Yr old Boy's Geekdome, still shines thru with the Quiver Shiver of Pumped Excitement. It's hard for me to Explain.

Sorry Damian .... He was 1 of the Best ..., and will always be.

Yeah, I don't follow wrestling at all, but thought the same thing. I'm sorry D, it's hard to lose someone who you're a big fan of.

I was never a member of the warrior fan club as I was a hulkamaniac and Sting fan but whatever you said about him as a wrestler he was a show and a half for the fans. I also immediately thought how Damien would be affected. RIP Warrior and my heart for Damein and all the other memebers of the warrior nation who are feeling this loss

Yeah D... my sympathies, man. Your posts here gave me a new appreciation for the Ultimate Warrior.

I heard the speech he gave on "Raw" the other night. Eerily prophetic.
