In Search of - TV show ( DVD ? )

Does anybody here remember the " In Search Of " tv show with Leonard Nimoy? My other question is was that complete series ever released on DVD? I cant find that show anywhere.

    Thanks!!

    Hey,
Remember back in the 90's when they cut the theme song out of the TV reruns ?

I was under the impression that A&E owned it now and they had Nicholas Peleggi from the X-Files re-host them after the X-Files tanked.

My dad and I used to watch that show every Saturday afternoon (or was it Sunday?). The creepy music added a lot to the mood. In fact, I knew Nimoy from "In Search Of..." before I ever really watched Trek.

Yeah, Mike, I remember when they cut the theme song. Totally sucked. Anyone ever notice the similarity between the theme song and the synthesizer solo in Steve Miller's "Swingtown"?

It's been shown on TV a few years ago but with with replaced opening theme and credits. I remember Saturdays the line up was (can't remember the order) Star Trek, Space:1999 and In Search Of. Needless to say, it was must see TV.
