    My point is that Cosmos is average fair that has been shown on the Science Channel, PBS, countless times before, the only difference is that this time, for a change, it's on a major network.

          I tried to watch the DNA one tonight but got bored when they started getting technical

          Loved the dog history part though

            BBC's Wonders of the Universe is a perfect example of a great show overlooked simply because it was not on a major American network channel.

              I don't think so...It's not overlooked by people that seek out those types of shows.

              I enjoyed that series, 'How the Universe Works', & 'A Brave New World' as much as I enjoyed and own 'Through the Wormhole'.

              Cosmos may actually draw audiences to those shows because it has a mainstream timeslot & exposure.
