How crispy do you like your bacon?

I like it where when you hold it there is a slight bend. So not too crispy.


What bothers me is that some restaurants are microwaving bacon now instead of frying. just not the same.

Yes. Chewycrispy we call it in my house. I can only eat it once in awhile. And only 2 or 3 strips at a time. It does a serious number on my guts otherwise.

I like chewy crispy too. I too, hate limp bacon (who doesn't?). Cindy has recently started cooking the bacon on a cookie sheet wrapped with aluminum foil. Cooks it just right every time, and it doesn't shrivel up to nothingness.

I am probably the lone limp bacon person. This is the picky-eater, texture thing rearing it's ugly head again. Basically, I like my breakfast cooked just enough to not be dangerous: limp bacon, sunny side up eggs, and bread "toasted" enough to allow butter to melt on it. No crunchiness!
