What State & City is everybody currently living?

To be honest, I think I know what you're talking about, but I've never really looked at it. I've been here so long, I don't really look at any of the signs, cause I know where BWI is. I'm guessing, it is probably just leaning because that would show "movement." (i.e. airport=modern day transportation).

Either that or the sign company got DC and Pisa confused

Funny. Now I know what you are talking about. It always looked to me like a plane taking off with a style-ized swoosh fading off from the wings. Well, I guess it's all of those images wrapped up in one!

I always thought it was a plane too. I like the sign going back into the city from BWI on 295: Welcome To Baltimore "Hon". The city cleans off the graffiti and someone always paints the "Hon" right back on the sign.

I moved to Dunedin, Florida from Baltimore five years ago. It's a small town on the Gulf about three miles north of Clearwater and about forty-five minutes west of Tampa. Cost of living isn't bad here, BUT the insurance on the coast and property tax for new buyers is a problem right now. The escrow portion of my mortgage payment is three dollars more than the interest portion. It's not as hot as inland Florida, and the west side of the state is a little more protected from hurricanes; we just need to convince the hurricanes of this fact, they're not well read on probabilities and statistics.

I miss Baltimore culture and people, but don't miss shoveling snow, shivering, paying the energy rates after BGE's rate increases, the property taxes or the City's piggyback income tax. In Florida the tourism pays for our State income Tax. Florida is also a huge beef producing state and the amount of fresh fish is amazing so grocery shopping and eating out isn't pricey.

I can get large, full blue crabs year round for $25 a dozen, another plus after living in MD all my life.

Southern Maine(Saco).....where We have 9 Months of Winter...and 3 Months of dammed poor Sledding!

I got to canoe the Saco when I was younger. Always wanted to do the Northern waters tour but never got to. Maybe someday.

Outside London in the UK, it's quiet where we live and we can travel into central London if we feel like it.

That's true,the seafood in Miami is super cheap as well

Awesome,thanx for the info Thomas.Is it as expensive as people say? My sister in law went last year for the Dolphins Giants football game and said everything was super expensive.I'm hoping to go sometime this year or the next

Compared to the US it probably is. Some stuff is somewhat expensive even compared to Belgium. But if you want expensive, visit Sweden

Brampton Ontario Canada about 30 minutes from Toronto. Born in Scarborough and left in 79. Been in Brampton every since. When I moved here there was two lanes and trees everywhere. Now houses upon houses trees gone and 3 to 4 lanes everywhere.
