New Bedford, Massachusetts. About 50 miles south of Boston. don't move here. Taxes have been ridiculous for the last few years. Nice thing is my house is worth 3 times what I paid for it 10 years ago and they show no sign of decreasing in this area due to a proposed train line that ill allow Bostonites to live in this area. More equity for me!!! When my daughter graduates I hope to move somewhere warmer and a little bit cheaper to live. Maybe I'll move to West Virginia and work at Wendy's. They could use the help. I'm sure of that. Maybe I could run for Governor. Does WV have a king??? Maybe they should. King Chuck. I like the sound of that.

I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan... as popularized on movies, tv and police blotters, poverty reports and "worst places to live" lists.
Moved to Raleigh NC for a job about 6 1/2 years ago. If I would have made a list of 100 places I'd like to live, North Carolina would not have been on the list. Now, I can't imagine living anywhere else. Currently in Durham NC

                    where we all live

Thanks for the responses! Keep the info coming in. Its interesting to hear where we are all from.

Life out here in Henderson Nevada isnt horrible but we are not happy with the public schools nor the increasing gang issues going on. We have two little kids to worry about. My old neighborhood on Long Island is still real safe, great schools but again the cost of living , taxes and home prices are up there! We pay $2000 grand a year here on a pretty new 4 bed home in Henderson while my in laws on Long Island pay over 11,000 on their very old home.

We live 20 minutes from Las Vegas so we do see many celebrities and crazy action on a weekly if not daily basis.

My wife and I live about halfway between Baltimore and Washington DC. Cost of living is pretty high here. If we hadn't bought our house when we did ten years ago, we definitely would have had to move to another location. As it is we are constantly running out of space to put things (we purchased a townhome before we had two kids).
                              It's all good!

Perfect person to ask this question I wanted to know for a long time ...
Everytime I go down to DC on 95 I see the signs for Baltimore-DC airport....

                                Question:
Is the icon for the Baltimore-DC airport the Capital Building leaning over ?
If so, any reason why it's leaning ?

When i'm on 95 I always wonder why is it leaning ?
