Is it snowing where you are?

Winter came back and in a really big way.It started here just before noon on Friday, snow and sleet made it nasty outside. The crappy weather continued over night leaving a layer of ice over the snow. And now since 1:00 at least 4 more inches of snow has came down. The wind is really picking up and now we get to deal with drifting snow.I know come summer time when its over 90 degrees everyone will be complaining again, but for now I'm sick of winter time.

They were forecasting 5 inches here. We got 1-2 inches, and it melted before lunch.

Doesn't 1" of rain equal 7" of snow,I remeber hearing that some where.

How much snow comes from one inch of rain?

10 to 12 inches of snow equal 1 inch of rain!
