Meat Water...It's Whats for Dinner. :)

Ok. I don't know about you guys but I like My chili with everything in it. Big chucks of onions, tomatoes, peppers, beans and meat.
    The more the better.
But the kids like what I call meat water. Nothing but meat ,water and chili mix. I have to say it lacks a lot. My wife hates it when I start singing we have meat water song.
What do you guys like in your chili?

Sounds good to me, I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to the chili I like, even though I prefer a more simple quick and easy chili. Hamburger with chopped onion, diced tomatoes & green chilies, brown that all together then dump in some tomato soup (maybe even a bisque of tomato)... a handful of chili powder and chili beans. Then boil all that until it reduces down to where it's thicker than pea soup.

    Now I want chili
    ALL HAIL MING!

A slapped together sample of my work:

I like all the goodies in it, but I also like the consistency in between. I always add some tomato sauce if it's to thick.

I don't like a bunch of stuff in chili, I'm kinda boring. Meat, beans and sauce for me. I'll also add a little hot sauce sometimes or some sambal oelek to really fire it up. I make mine pretty thick too. Although I really like crackers in my chili, I've been known to use Fritos as well. A lot of people around these parts like to use cheese in their chili, but I prefer it without.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

When i make it,i make it with everything, hamburger, onions, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, chili beans, chili powder, chili mix and anything else i decide to throw in there.
Sometimes i might add mushrooms and/or corn too.
I made some last year with everything mentioned and used 1 pound deer burger someone gave me and 1 pound hamburger mix.
I didn't tell anybody about the "deer burger" ingredient, because they wouldn't have ate it.
They commented that was my Best ever and i agreed,it was Awesome!!!
Never did tell them about the deer burger, lol.
And crackers are a must have for me with chili.

I haven't done venison in decades, but when I make chili I use everything else mentioned. I cook it in a crock for two days before I serve it, which takes the edge off of most of the ingredients. Living in Ohio, chili season for me starts in October. I'll probably cook something up for next weekend.

My chili must have beans, meat, onions, seasonings, and be mixed w/ rice.

All of them sound good. I agree crackers are a must for me too. Scott mentioned Fritos. I was working on the job one winter day and I seen the Mexican guys buying Wendy's chili and getting those little bags of fritos and dumping the chili into it. They gave me a bad of frito chili and it was outstanding. Greta idea for chili on the job.

We beaners eat everything...as much as the Mexican cuisine traditionalist that I am...once in a while...a Taco Bell Locos Tacos hits the spot just right...

There is a place around here that does Frito pie where they serve it in the Fritos bag. They split open the bag and pour the chili and cheese on top. Awesome stuff.

Can't say I'm a fan of Wendy's chili. I only had it once, but "meat water" would have been the perfect description.

lol...Yeah I have to say them guys had a great idea with the chili in a fritos bag. Very cool dudes. I was starving and freezing when they hooked me up with a chili bag of fritos.
We rarely get a lunch break so I was a very happy camper.
