I took this picture of a unicorn. It was taken during the moulting season, and it had already shed it's horn.

Sorry I don't believe you, I can tell that picture was photoshopped....

Ok, two Mexican hairless dogs then, lol.

Probably the pair got away from the owner (some run wild as well) and wondered into that area.

But it's definitely a domesticated dog, the Aztecs used them as both pets and food.

          Chupacabras is indeed a Xolo...

          Mystery solved.

You should watch the TV series A Haunting. Ghosts, haunted houses, possessions, etc. It's a re-enactment series on cable which is scarier than most feature films.

I don't like football so I don't go into those threads. There are loads of shows I dislike so I don't go into those threads either. Besides, it's not like it's a topic on some wild conspiracy doomsday cult junk, it's freakin' Bigfoot. It's a pretty darn mild and harmless topic that shouldn't always turn into pile on.
Yeah, I feel like whenever one of these threads comes up, the people who start it are just begging to be verbally beaten. I think the point here is lets look at the glass as 1/2 full an not 1/2 empty. Having doubts is fine but let's concentrate on the pros-not the cons. If you're just going to knock down every argument for Bigfoot from every angle in these threads maybe you're missing the point, especially when a member here claims they actually saw one.

                      The genius Carl Sagan:

“People are not stupid. They believe things for reasons. The last way for skeptics to get the attention of bright, curious, intelligent people is to belittle or condescend or to show arrogance toward their beliefs.”

                      But...

                      "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

And reality gives us this reminder that things we don't normally see do exist:

"Catalina snorkeler finds 18-foot oarfish carcass on sea floor"

"Oarfish, which can reach lengths of 50-plus feet, inhabit depths of 1,500-3,000 feet. They feed largely on krill and other tiny organisms and boast large, saucer-shaped eyes.

They're believed responsible, in the times of ancient mariners, for spawning tales of sea serpents and dragons that would rise like demons to steal crewmen and sink tall ships.

They're rarely encountered but sometimes when they die or are near-death, they surface and wash ashore."

Yep, this made me think of this thread too. And prior to this one, there was a story about the dead giant squid washing ashore. Both of which were dismissed as legends and tall tales at one point.

To be clear: The fact that other creatures, thought to be the stuff of legend, were discovered to be real does not mean that all legendary creatures are real.

But it should give pause to some that so glib as to dismiss the possibility.

I read about that giant oarfish in the news. Pretty neat.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

They say that oarfish is 18 feet long, and they can grow to 50 feet? So how is that oarfish not a sea serpent? I look at that photo and I see a "real" sea serpent.

Here's my take on that. The headline should read Sea Serpent Carcass Found. But that means science must admit what they've said doesn't exist-really does exist. There's egg on their faces and a reluctance to admit people who are non-scientists were right about something. Best to keep the "official" name which would never come up on someone's radar if they were looking for a real sea serpent.
