Cool, oh yeah, who here as a kid did not eat all those sugar laden cereals back then. I know I tried them all back then. The one that had the coolest looking prize was the one I got everytime we went to the grocery store. I occasionally still will treat myself to one of those cereals, but being 46, I try to eat a little healthier breakfast now. But I still love them.

      He's yummy.

Nice idea, but not a fan of the new box art. I remember arguing the existence of Frute Brute with some co-workers who were a couple years younger than me and didn't remember the cereal or it's commercials. This was back in the day when I couldn't just tell them to google it. They thought I was full of crap.

Yeah, when I first saw the film, this scene finally proved to me that I didn't just imagine the cereal ever existed, there it was! I think the box was from QT's personal collection, I know he collects a lot of 70's memorabilia, toys, board games, cereal boxes, etc. I know if I directed films, I'd be putting my crap in the background for sure!

I never knew of these guys as a kid. Only years later did I know these ever existed.

I'm very excited to try both of these.
However, I do agree with the idea of the retro boxes.

As much as I like the sweet cereals, Fruit Brute was too sweet for me back in the day. Never heard of Yummy Mummy.

Looking forward to all the Halloween stuff making it into stores.

                That's awesome!

Hopefully, they'll do the retro boxes for Halloween. I've always wanted those two.

The prices for the original PVC pieces from the 70's kill me. Frute Brute is a piece of change for something I'd only put out for two months.

Aside from marshmallows, were the originals the same flavors? I thought one was just a relaunch of the other?

Fruit Brute had lime flavored marshmellows and Yummy Mummy had vanilla flavored marshmellows...Base cereal was "fruit flavored"

Sadly, we have no Target stores nearby. No Booberry for the rche clan.
