Arthur's Toys. Fresno, CA. The place was huge and awesome and I miss it terribly.

I'll add Kuester's Hardware also from Evansville. Emergency Ian knows the place too and probably shopped the same times I did, he grew up a few miles from me. They had a decent sized selection of Mego and later added a counter in the back next to lawn care for Atari games and cartridges and maybe Intellivision?
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Either Kmart 1978 or Kay Bee Toys 1985.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

This ones a no brainer for me

TOY TOWN-Towson, Maryland 1978,79,80 This place was heaven for me as a kid. place was huge the size of a supermarket and they had EVERYTHING! It closed in the early 80's and I think was bought out by Kiddie City. I still have many toys I got from there as a kid. I miss it like I miss a lost relative..

2ND. TOYS R US-Towson, Maryland 82,83,84, Back when this store was king and had everything as well. Its still there but its a babies r us and looks NOTHING like it did back when I was a kid. I went inside for nostalgia sake and it broke my heart.

3rd. (Do I get a third?) WOOLWORTHS-Perry Hall, Maryland 1977-84 (when they closed) The basement there had some of the best toys and their candy section was a mile long it seemed like and I found lots of baseball, football, movie, and tv cards there. If it wasn't from our Ice Cream Man it was there I went.

Ben Franklin's here in Cynthiana, KY, without a doubt. And I'd set the time machine to sometime in late September or early October, so I could partake of all the Halloween goodies upstairs, before venturing downstairs into Toyland to see all the Megos, Remco stuff, View Master reels, Colorforms, Ride-ons...you name 'em, they had them!

Then I'd hop across town to Howard's, and pick up some other stuff!!!

So did Lionel have a direct pipeline to Mego since they were a Jersey based company?

Rosbergs, a long gone department store in downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario. They had a hell of a toy department, I bought most of my Megos there, they always had a great selection of them. I have fond memories of visiting the store with my grandmother, I'd love to just walk through the place again even if I couldn't buy anything to bring back to the present.

Or a little dime store called Ben Franklin, that had all the rad toys.

Yeah, Hills did have great end-caps.

I'd like to revisit Woolsey's Toy Store and Children's Palace.

Children's Palace, late 70s. For profit and nostalgia. That store has more memories gor me. Next up would be Woolworths in downtown or the one Uncle Bill's I went to that had almost every WGSH.
