At one point years ago, this myth through some loophole in some states law, probably having to do with the definition of a motor vehicle was probably true and some people used that to get out of actually being charged for an offense. These myths have to start some where, but i would think that any loophole like that was closed long ago.
Anyway back to the topic.....Another thing you dont see today is the use of the color Avocado Green on Everything from cars, furniture, kitchen appliances, etc, etc.Comment

^^^ Our current house came with Avacado green stove and refrigerator. The stove bit the dust in Hurricane Charley and the fridge left as soon as we bought the house, ice cubes wouldn't freeze in it.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. I do remember Ski, quite well. I too think that it is better than Mountain Dew. In fact, I am so fond of it that I have a vintage rectangular aluminum sign (now in a closet) for Ski. I believe that it's circa 1960s.
Ski soda is a Double Cola product and was introduced in 1956.
In fact, one bottler, in the mid-west (Exel in Breese, Illinois), was still producing Ski with pure cane sugar as late as a five years ago (they may still be doing it). Over a year or so, they sent me several 24 bottle shipments, about 7 years ago. They neatest thing about it, is that they bottled the Ski in the vintage bottles, as seen above (both types ... the bottle with people skiing is from the 1960s). They had a lot of vintage bottles that were fit for reuse. They sterilized and filled with Ski, for me.
Ok, I'm done rambling.
