    What's your A/C set on?

As we are now fully in summer, I think at least? What's your A/C set on. We keep ours on 74 and its always comfortable, though the cats might think different. A buddy at works keeps his on 70.

Ours is normally at 74... I say normally because the Mrs will get cold in the middle of the night (yeah, crazy right?) and she'll turn it off. I think I need one of those locking boxes at the house

78 during the day, them down to 76 at bed time. It goes back up to 78 after 3 hours. And it's been smokin hot and humid here the last couple of weeks.

No need for home A/C on the cities by the Bay.

Stores do have them though...as well as the inner part of the Bay Area, places like Concord, Walnut Creek, and Dublin.

But in both San Francisco and Oakland, not needed, for while it can get hot and sunny, the northern Pacific Ocean breeze keeps things cool.

I sweat essily, and get miserable in hot weather, but I do fine at home during the Summer without an A/C, we have a couple of fans, and my bedroom has a ceiling fan, that's all it's needed.

Being in the midwest, I cannot even fathom living anywhere on Earth without AC. It's just not in the culture or human nature around here. I keep it right around 72 or so depending on external temps.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

68 all the time! Is so da&% hot and humid in southern middle Tennessee that is unbearable without it.

You just need good ceiling fans. Only have them on when you sitting under them. Florida will beat anywhere in humidity or at least tie. I'm and air conditioned gypsy and if your equipment is working right and not under sized. 77-78 with ceiling fans is all you need.

                        80. It gets hot here, but our AC would be on constantly 24 hours a day if we set it any lower. It's just not a big enough unit for our square footage. I ain't paying $500 a month to PG&E to be cold!!

I wonder how Wee67 is doing with his new move to FL and not running the ac but a dehumidifier theory. lol
