Actually, the Dollar Shave Club is not a great deal. From what I understand, they're just buying and repackaging Dorco Pace blades. Cut out the middle man and buy direct:
Whatever you, DON'T buy the store brand CVS razors. You'd have better luck shaving with a butter knife. You can't get one decent shave out of them, and it's not like I'm Bigfoot or something.
I get mach 3's from an ebay seller in Brooklyn. No problems so far.
I think you ARE Bigfoot, and you're just trying to throw us off your trail.
I started using the Gillette thing with five blades and a beard trimmer. I like it even thought the blades are expensive because they shave really close and with the attachment thingy I can trim my goatee. I was using a steel and chrome razor that belonged to my grandad, the kind where you turn the handle and the head goes up so you can exchange the blade. It worked okay but the prep time to get a good shave with it took too long. Also I've noticed I get less ingrown hairs with the Mach five.

After running out of blades for my Mach 3, I decided to give Dorco a try. Their 6 blade (!) plus trimmer is very nice; it shaves very close.
On your recommendation I ordered some Dorco razors, and used their disposable 6 (I think) blade on Mon. Nice shave; no complaints. Thanks for mentioning them!
I'm now currently growing a beard!?!?!?!?!?....LOL
I don't know how long I can make it though it's driving me insane.I've gone two weeks now longest ever for me.
All this razor talk.
“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”
After all, shaving with a classic safety razor like this not only saves you a ton of money (you'll never have to buy an 8-pack of marked up cartridges for $20 when you can get a 10-pack of safety razors for $5), but it also leads to better, more consistent, more enjoyable shaves. If you feel like shaving is a chore that has to be done, using a safety razor like this can make it a bit more fun and luxurious...
I used a Braun electric razor this morning and I feel like something has been chewing on my face and I can still feel stubble. Thinking about the DORCO thing that was mentioned above. Anybody have good luck with that?
I caved and went electric. I got a Norelco for like $50, and it works fine. Took a while for my face to adjust, but now I don't mind. It never shaves me as close, but it's close enough.
