    Hot Wings

How hot do you like your hot wings? Got some wings from the butcher shop yesterday on the way home yesterday , and they are boiling right now. From there they will be deep fried to get crispy then coated in a think smokin' hot bbq sauce with chedder cheese mixed in. How hot do you like your hot wings?

Don't like them spicy. I usually fry them up myself and put Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce on them.

I grill the wings, dust them with cinnamon, then finish them in the pan with Crystal and butter. The cinnamon sounds weird, but try it.

The cinnamon would give them a sweet taste right? And does it glaze up nice in the pan? Will try it next time .

Not sugar sweet, but it's a nice layer under the heat.

Honestly, I just stumbled across it. I was trying to add a layer of flavor separate from just the heat, and the cinnamon was the first thing I tried. My wife makes incredible habanero sugar cookies. There are plenty of experiments that don't turn out...

I don't like the hot sauce directly over the wings...I like to dip them.

I don't like sweet hot wings either...I like them to be savory.
