You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks -
I've always thought that was odd, myself. I knock when I go to my own brother's house. The only thing I can come up with is that they just have people (Fonzie, Larry from Three's Company, Dwayne Schneider, whomever) walk in without knocking as a time saving device on an already short program.Comment

"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

Acknowledged.
The fatal bit for me, was that your words seemed to echo others opinion across the Internet, so, even w/benefit of the doubt, it was still difficult.
As far as what appears to be HardyGirl's implication of an impolite threadjack, regardless of opinion of thread-relevancy of Brady-annoyances, dang, I wish I remembered Bellows' character more... I liked IDOJ a LOT back in the day... I can GUARANTEE that I saw almost every episode of IDOJ... except it was a long time ago!"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

Kramer's enterances are a deliberate satirical commentary on that very thing. Funny that his enterances rooted in self-reference have become the definitive example."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

With me it may be a nerve of sorts. But only in the sense that I think our perspectives are skewed. Take the idea that our culture was different 40 years ago out of the equation, andI still had my own 1970s Mother that was actually in a simillar homestead position to Carol, and I 've never considered my Mom a golddigger. Maybe kinda lazier than most regular working-women, but she was a good Mom, doing Mom stuff in spite of that (stuff beyond "trophy" behavior). I think Carol was simillar."No. No no no no no no. Marie Barone's constant barging into her son's house, without so much as a knock, or even permission. She just walks across the street, barges in, criticizes Debra's housekeeping, babies her son Raymond, fusses over the grandchildren, and GETS AWAY WITH IT!JediJaidaComment
