Niners vs Ravens, that's a pick 'em matchup, a Super Bowl for the ages, brother vs brother, mythical, lol.

man I wish Ricky Williams would've played 1 more year..would've liked to have seen him get a shot at the SB..I feel bad for Gonzo too, he came so close..One of the best TE's of all time"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

I wonder if Ray Lewis replaced his fur coat he lost at his last Super Bowl and if he'll pack it for his trip to NO?I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I have to agree Tom, Patriots just looked emotionless the entire game. Ravens really punched them in the mouth in the second half.Comment

Interesting day, though I missed most of it being a work.
Crabtree almost scored but didn't. At least that's what he's been telling police
Who was covering Vernon Davis? Manti Teo's girlfriend?
Randy Moss made some catches today. The cobwebs must make his hands sticky.
The Harbaugh brothers are going to the Super Bowl. Elsewhere Rex Ryan beat Rob Ryan in a heated game of Connect Four
This is going to be a fun, fun SB. I must make sure I'm off for that one. I don't see how Vegas can even create a line for this, too close.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I don't know about how much juice the brother against brother coaching aspect really has for me. A few years ago when Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith met up in the Super Bowl all that was talked about leading up to the game was that two black head-coaches were facing one another for the 1st time in NFL history and then the game started and it really didn't matter. The players are the ones playing the game. I'm never really interested in seeing coaches looking bemused or bewildered on the sidelines. Now it's brother against brother and that's all that's gonna be talked about for two freakin weeks. Well that and the headache that is Ray Lewis. If the Falcons won today, I could have rooted for them. If the Patriots won today, I could have rooted for them but this Baltimore/San Fran match-up just isn't doing it for me. On the San Francisco side, I can't stand Harbaugh, and while I get Kaepernicks appeal as a quarterback, I can't root for a guy that plays that position inked up so much he doubles as a human canvas. On the other side, I've really developed a dislike for Lewis and his retirement parade. I generally dislike both teams on the whole. The only thing I'm gonna be interested in is to see if any of my Super Bowl Pool boxes match the score at the end of each quarter. I don't think I've had this much disinterest in a Super Bowl matchup since the Steelers met up with Green Bay back in the 90's. Maybe the game will go into OT for added excitement but we've been so spoiled with "Game For The Ages" type Super Bowls in the past decade that this one will probably be a lopsided blow-out by the half."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment

Yeah, Jim Harbaugh is kind of a loose cannon, but he get's results obviously. I can see how he would be disliked. Lewis too. Nobody really knows what happened for sure in 2000, but he was ridiculously good as a player and is the ultimate team leader. ESPN is throwing all of this attention around cause he signed on work commentary next year.
The ultimate HOF player this weekend was Gonzalez. Where it's debatable if Lewis is the best LB ever, it's not even a question who the best TE is who ever played is. Shannon Sharpe is a distant second. Just kinda wish Tony had more coverage, but he plays for the Falcons where they get just barely more national coverage than the Lingerie Football League.
It's good to see Gore in the SB. He's like a combination of Niners greats Roger Craig and Tom Rathman.
Flacco has finally reached his potential, but has he peaked tonight? Should be interesting.
Kaepernick is a product of his generation. Tats like his are simply part of modern culture. He's no more or less offensive with his ink than most NBA players, just happens to be the first high profile QB.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I can't believe some people are hating on Kap because of his tattoos, that's just silly, lol.
The kid was abandoned by his biological mother, and his adoptive parents raised him right, he's a good young man, he's humble, and has the right attitude.sigpicComment

Stay classy, coach Belichick...
New England coach Bill Belichick doesn't handle losing all too well, and he blew off CBS' customary postgame interview with the coach of the losing team after the AFC championship game. CBS analyst Shannon Sharpe wasn't impressed and called him … Continue reading →
