    I did and I couldn't get anything to grow. I even used Miracle Gro. Someone must know what the secret is. Someone in the next town over from me had a tomato plant in one and it was all the way to the ground.

      I am in the I Don't like Tomatoes club lol,it's funny cause I like Tomato Soup,Ketchup,Bruschetta and Salsa but can't bring myself to eat one.(Weird i know)

      I am the same with Cherries and Strawberries too,like the flavour but just can't eat the darn things.

          speaking of which...anyone notice how expensive they are? they're $2.69-$3.00 a pound here in supermarkets...Lucky for me I have a farmer who sells them right across the street cheap as hell, he gives me 6-8 huge ones for $2

                    You actually made me go into my kitchen and sprinkle pepper on a tomato. Almost ten minutes later, and the tomato is still the same icky texture.

                      The upside-down planters work great. But you can make better ones with 5 gallon buckets.

                        Try at a flea market. You can usually get them cheap there.

                          I Heart Tomatoes. I love ketchup like nobodys buisness. It actually took me awhile before I realized tomatoes were the joint. I love making Bruschetta and putting tomaoes on my salad. I've seen the light and I'm much happier for that.
