I'm one of those guys that hates tomatoes but thinks ketchup is a food group unto itself. It's a texture thing I think. It always seemed like I was biting into a red, juicy brain with seeds. Spaghetti sauce, ketchup and bbq sauce bring em' on. Whole of diced tomatoes do not belong on my plate. I know, weird.

As a numerous of us has said, sprinkle black pepper on one. It literally makes all of the difference. I know, I used to be like you. Now I love 'em.

What Rally Girl said. I love raw tomatoes and all kinds of tomato sauces, but I really dislike sliced tomatoes on pizza. Their texture changes as they warm up and a hot sliced tomato just don't sit well with me.

I love 'maters, specially with onions and pickles on burger, perfect combination of flavors. Love sun-dried tomatoes in my pasta, and nothing like the way a cherry tomato bursts with flavor.

I went through a phase when I didn't like tomatoes on their own, but that phase has since passed. Nothing like a fresh garden tomato...especially a YELLOW tomato. Man, that's good eatin'...

Try them on the grill , wrap them up in foil with some green peppers , garlic and butter. Now thats good summer food fresh from the garden

I love eating raw tomatoes as well, just sprinkle a little sea salt, and bite into them like an apple.

same here, i eat an average of 5 tomatoes a week...If not I slice them up with a whole onion and olive oil and I'm good to go

Big fan of heirloom tomatoes and try to stay away from cheap GMO tomatoes. Buy organic from farms that don't get their seeds from Monsanto.
Don't last long in our household since we make salas or make cold tomato soup ala borscht. I agree, raw is the best with a dash of smoked alder salt.
