I love the unique ways Europeans "dress up" their foods
(reminds me of that "fries/mayo" scene in PULP FICTION)
I'm still a big advocate of sugar on hot popcorn in theatres.
I can't believe it never caught on here in the U.S.
(I discovered it in 1991 in the UK!)
Anyways---happy Pancake Day!
(They're delicious but you probably won't catch me eating pancakes unless
they are whole grain!)
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
I had pancake sausage dogs (like corn dogs but w/ pancake and sausage) for breakfast this morning, does that count?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
We have about two dozen different dressings for fries, but mayo is still a big favorite
And while I like sugar on my popcorn I prefer salt, yummy
Salt seems more American than anything else...and I find it quite useless
on popcorn and basically everything else----don't know why...butter is okay--
-and some butters have salt in them, I guess
---I like vinegar tho' which seems more on the European side
I wouldn't "drown" my fries in mayo (as Vincent refers to it) but its cool
in moderation for me
