I love Pancakes, but what's up with lemon on them ?

I love the unique ways Europeans "dress up" their foods
(reminds me of that "fries/mayo" scene in PULP FICTION)

I'm still a big advocate of sugar on hot popcorn in theatres.
I can't believe it never caught on here in the U.S.
(I discovered it in 1991 in the UK!)

          Anyways---happy Pancake Day!
(They're delicious but you probably won't catch me eating pancakes unless
          they are whole grain!)

I had pancake sausage dogs (like corn dogs but w/ pancake and sausage) for breakfast this morning, does that count?

I don't remember trying pancakes the last time I was in the UK. The main thing I remember is the bacon is more like Canadian bacon or ham.

That and lot's of Nutella in Germany which is some good stuff but I don't see it much on store shelves around here.

We have about two dozen different dressings for fries, but mayo is still a big favorite
And while I like sugar on my popcorn I prefer salt, yummy

Damn right it's good stuff. It's not just Germany that has it. And it tastes great on pancakes, trust me

Salt seems more American than anything else...and I find it quite useless
on popcorn and basically everything else----don't know why...butter is okay--
-and some butters have salt in them, I guess

---I like vinegar tho' which seems more on the European side

I wouldn't "drown" my fries in mayo (as Vincent refers to it) but its cool
                            in moderation for me
