As much as I HATE!!! The Giants, I have to give them credit...And as much as I HATE THE GIANTS!!! I HATE the Patriots more. So congrats to BIG BLUE.
Post script...go back to earlier this week and Plaxico Buress predicted the Giants would win...and I even think he predicted the score too. That takes guts.
Certainly a long trip for away matches.... I can certainly understand American teams being far far better than any other countries teams but I thought the NFL stood for National Football League ( correct me if i'm wrong...I am English after all).....not international....We have leagues for football, cricket etc but when the world cups come around it is the best players from a multitude of teams competing as a National team against other countries and the winners being world champions.
I'm not trying to be pedantic or patronising here I just genuinely don't understand the World tag....sorry..
This is a nice gift for the Pats / Sox haters in this neck of the country. Try living and listening to the fans here when the local teams win ANYTHING.
Man Bill electing not to go for that 49 yard FG really bit him in the a**,horrible call if you ask me
That's exactly what I was thinking. That was so stupid! It's not like they only had inches to go, either.
I'm not a huge football guy, but I was rooting for the Patriots. Early on it looked like they might run away with it after Manning through the interception, but the Patriots just couldn't put it together. I loved how well Welker did, but Brady didn't look like himself until the next to last drive. NY's defense really shut him down.
Was it me or did Tom Brady look like his skin was yellow?
Well there's only one league(CFL & NFL Europe don't count),it's the same with the NBA and stuff like that. They are the best in the world if they win,is there a country that has a pro football team that we don't know about that could hang with the NFL?
