I'm the kinda guy that always needs to read a couple chapters of a good book before I go to sleep, so I always have a book or two that I'm in the middle of reading. Right now, I've almost finished the third book of George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series, "A Storm of Swords" (got hooked on these after greatly enjoying the first season of "Game of Thrones". If the third book is any indication, the next season or two on HBO are gonna be EPIC!) and I've started Irvine Welsh's "Skagboys", his prequel to "Trainspotting" (which I enjoyed a lot, along with it's sequel "Porno". Also a huge fan of the Trainspotting film). The heavy Scottish dialect and slang is a bit challenging at times, but after awhile you get used to it. I can always use some new recommendations, so what books are you other folks reading now?

I'm about halfway through this book on CD:
A new "authorized" Sherlock Holmes novel: The House of Silk, commissioned by the Conan Doyle estate. The novel is presented as a continuation of Conan Doyle's work and is narrated by Dr. Watson. By Anthony Horowitz

Just finished The Reversal by Michael Connelly. I read everything he does. The books of his that they've turned into movies have been atrocious (Blood Work, Lincoln Lawyer), but his books are fantastic detective/lawyer stuff.Comment

Fleming's You Only Live Twice.
Good book, but the movie has nothing to do with it at all. It's just Bond and Tanaka, discussing life in Japan for 200 pages. And I only have 50 pages left to go.
Had Fleming lived, he might have sued United Artists....
