Velveeta vs Kraft } The Museum Show Down of Macaroni & Cheese

Velveeta All The Way in the Knight's House .
If I don't have an Extra Buck or 2 to Spend on Macaroni & Cheese, I won't buy that other Crap Period.

I don't care what Velveeta is ...., That Stuff is Fantastic on some Noodles.

BTW ... it's Bad *** with my Home Made Ribs too.

It's not even close. Velveeta destroys Kraft as far as boxed Mac and cheese goes.....

I coul make a list of better Mac and cheeses, but all from restaurants.

THe way I make Kraft is to buy two boxes and use both packets on one box and throw out the other noodles. Then after adding the milk and butter throw in a few slices of American cheese. To thicken it up. Also feel free to add canned tuna/chicken for a poor man's Tuna Helper.

Stouffers. Kraft will do in a pinch, but I have to have Stouffers. I HATE Velveeta. When I was a kid, in our house, no one but my dad ate that crap.

What happened to real melted cheddar cheese?

But...if that's not available...both will do fine over tortillas chips for some awesome nachos...lots of sliced jalapeños too of course...

                Cheez Whiz is great too...

Stouffers is made w/ real cheese and no preservatives. Cheez Whiz is a crime against nature. KFC Mac and cheese tastes like noodles w/ Cheez Whiz poured over it.

My homemade is the best on the planet, period.

I cook the elbows first and toss them in melted butter and set aside.

Then I boil some milk, add Lawry's season salt, pepper, and some Worcestershire sauce, and melt in a half pound of shredded sharp cheddar and a half pound of deli American.

Mix the sauce and macaroni together and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees til it gets all brown and bubbly.

                            They both are terrible

my 8 year old only wants to eat Kraft but I make Mac * cheese from scratch cheaper and better and only takes about 15 minutes longer

When my mom used to make it it had a yummy crust on the top.

Nobody ever did get her recipe.

Would that have been probably breadcrumbs ? cracker meal ?
