Stouffers is the best store bought and the closest to home made.

scratch made is dinnertime Mac at my house. Many times we pair it with some slo-cook chili

But for lunch, we will throw the boil and stir noodles together. Annies, CM (local grocer), and in a pinch we would probably go for the shells and cheese. I'm gonna have to look into the Stouffers thing.

For me it's my own made from scratch. I use vermont sharp white cabot chedder. For me nothing else comes close. I have added some shredded mozzarella so i can get that cheese pull and i top it with mozzarella as well.

    They both are terrible

my 8 year old only wants to eat Kraft but I make Mac * cheese from scratch cheaper and better and only takes about 15 minutes longer

My homemade is the best on the planet, period.

I cook the elbows first and toss them in melted butter and set aside.

Then I boil some milk, add Lawry's season salt, pepper, and some Worcestershire sauce, and melt in a half pound of shredded sharp cheddar and a half pound of deli American.

Mix the sauce and macaroni together and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees til it gets all brown and bubbly.

Stouffers is made w/ real cheese and no preservatives. Cheez Whiz is a crime against nature. KFC Mac and cheese tastes like noodles w/ Cheez Whiz poured over it.

What happened to real melted cheddar cheese?

But...if that's not available...both will do fine over tortillas chips for some awesome nachos...lots of sliced jalapeños too of course...

    Cheez Whiz is great too...
