It actually looks pretty good. I'm not going to pre-judge it. Going the route of normal clothes and a mask is probably more realistic than a powder-blue suit, although I kind of miss it.

That's already not a good sign.

The Lone Ranger should get top billing...Johnny Depp should swallow his ego...and let Armie Hammer get the lead.

            I bet if it was a real Native-American actor...Hammer would've definitely gotten the lead...lol.

Feels like a fun movie...but not a real Western.

This looks more like Will Smith's Wild Wild West...than Gary Cooper's High Noon, lol.

It looks like it should be a good movie but it doesn't really scream Lone Ranger to me. I don't know. I also hope Depp doesn't wear the dead bird on his head for the whole movie.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I like Depp, great actor, but I wish he'd take a long vacation.

Tonto should have been played by a Native American, there are enough talented actors out there.

Maybe when they remake Shaft, they can have Jim Carrey play him, with black make-up and a curly wig...

Don't forget, Brando and Hackman got top billing for Superman: The Movie. It happens.

No too thrilled with Depp's look for Tonto...but unfortunately, without Depp attached to this project it probably wouldn't have got made.
His name is the big draw for the executives who signed off on this. I hope it's worth it
