Charlie's death is one of the classic lost moments IMO...sad to see him go, he was one of my favorites, but he definitely went out with a bang!

I TiVo'd last night's episodes - probably watch them over the weekend. I'll TiVo the first hour recap tonight and then watch the premiere.

At first, I thought I would be very happy if The Others had never been introduced. Now, I think it would have been nice if they hadn't given them so much attention. If there was a little more mystery about them and more answers about other stuff, maybe the show would last longer than another - what 48 episodes?

Michael leaving is another thing that bothers me.

Plus, everybody who has ever picked up a DUI/DWI has been killed and let go. That sucks.

I was bummed by the Flash Forward. I hope things start to make some sense as more episodes air. Or it'll be like watching a bad play during the Super Bowl.

Okay, I'll go with you there. I was really when he blew away Libby and Ana Lucia. I couldn't see him just getting on a boat with Walt and actually [I]making it /I] away from the island!! The boat should have exploded or sank - they really should find his lifeless body this season after what he's done.

I read somewhere that Jack was in the funeral home to see Michael. He was the one who died. I could see Hurley or Sayid - anybody but Michael...

I'd say it was a solid premiere. Nothing spectacular, altho that's how you could describe my rage when Time Warner shut down the broadcast (not once, but twice) for a test of the emergency broadcast signal. The local ABC 11pm news even had a report on it cuz they'd received so many complaints to their station.

As often happens, the show was also bloated with too many ads, that new Eli Stone show in particular. Kiss my arse, George Michael.

It just bugs me that just as this season will be hitting its stride (8 eps), it'll be yanked again cuz that's all they got in the can. Even if the strike was settled tomorrow, it still might be too late already to salvage this season.
