I think that is about all I have met most of these were back in the day when they were all in Stampede Wrestling.I have met Bret more than once and he has been the nicest guy ever.I am as big a fan of Brett as T2C is of the WArrior so lay of the Bret hating type1 or else....I'll call you type2...

Didn't Vince Screw Brett, Over pretty hard with that match in his home town ? ... Then the whole death of his Brother. I dunno, might have something to do with how he acted with the Fans, depending on the time ofcourse.

Yes Vince did screw him over but it was in Toronto at a big Wrestle-mania with Shawn michaels.It was all documented in the documentary "Bret hart wrestling with shadows"
Vince made Bret act that way towards the American fans unbenownst to him at the time in an effort to ruin his career and fan base,before he went over to WCW.It is a fascinating show and if you are a wrestling fan at all you should try to watch it.There are lots of great things in it.

I've met more than my share having lived in Atlanta for several years, and going to WWWF shows in NJ during the late 70's / early 80's when you could still see them in your local High School Gymnasium. Nothing like walking right up to the likes of Pedro Morales, Don Muraco, Mil Mascaras, any other legends before and after a match. Don Muraco scared the bejeezus out of me after losing a match and made sure to come back after the show to apologize.

I would have to say the coolest experience (with possibly any 'celebrity') was in the Phoenix airport, waiting for plane back to Atlanta. Dallas Page and I spent about 30 minutes shooting the breeze, about everything from my job, to our favorite Atlanta restaurants, with a good smattering about the industry itself. It was probably about 4-6 months before WCW sold out, and the biggest hope DDP had was that Vince would swoop in and save the day. It was a pretty amazing shoot coming from a guy who collected the majority of his paychecks from Time Warner. But ultimately he was just a down to earth guy who seemed to appreciate the fact that I didn't want an autograph, just to say hello and tell him I enjoyed and respected his work.

Waited on both Hulk Hogan and Ravishing Rick Rude at a restaurant in Dunedin FLA back in my college days. Both were cool and good tippers.

I've met a handful over the years. Mad Dog Vachon, Fallen Angel Chris Daniels, Chris Jericho, were some of the cool ones that come to mind. Jerry Lynn is a very cool guy who's a fan of my band and has come to our gigs before. When I was a really young kid, old time wrestler Moose Cholak used to be seen walking the neighborhood (he lived nearby) and would sometimes walk by and pick up us kids and swing us around and make us laugh, he seemed like a nice man.

Let's see. I made it to the 2000 Pillman Memorial and got to meet Justin Credible, Shane Douglas, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit. Meeting Benoit really stuck with me because I shook his and Malenko's hands after I got a picture with them and thanked them and Benoit said "No. Thank you for coming."

I also got to meet Ricky Steamboat and I'm kicking myself to this day that I didn't get a picture with him. He also had some cool pictures someone had drawn of him facing off against other opponents, and my other foot's kicking myself for not grabbing the one of him facing Flair.

I also got to meet Ted DiBiase a few years ago. I met Tracy Smothers at an OVW show in the Louisville Gardens which was cool since that was the arena the USWA ran every Tuesday night.

One of the coolest happened last summer. Every so often they run a huge flea market in Louisville at the fairgrounds. I'm walking through and see a guy with a lot of Jerry Lawler memorabilia. I see he's got the books and I mention that I'd misread his sign and thought they were autographed.

He says, "Well, he's on his way and can sign them."

I went back and there sat the King. I got an old-school 8x10 signed by him which is one of my favorite autographs.

I've been lucky and haven't met any jerks yet. Malenko, of course, was quiet (which I'd expected), and so was Saturn but everybody else was really good to talk to.

I haven't followed for years, but when I was very young they held the old school WWWF at an old armory in the area. The promoter for the area owned a sporting goods store and knew my dad. Got to shake hands with Andre the Giant which was simply amazing. Also met Pedro Morales, Don Muraco, and got to stand near Chief Jay Strongbow. Followed that until it morphed into the WWF and when my kids got into it I started bringing them to the shows to meet them. Met HHH (really nice guy), Tony Garea, after he had retired and just worked in the background of the WWF, The Giant, The Undertaker,(both real nice), and Sable, who was real nice but not as hot up close. Met Goldberg he was cool. Jimmy Snuka and Virgil at the Megafest in MD a few years back. Virgil actually chased me down an aisle when I passed on wanting an autograph, but was pretty friendly and joked around with everyone. For the most part they've all been pretty cool. I've met far more sports and Nascar celebs and haven't had too many bad experiences there either.

I was down in White Marsh, MD doing some shopping once and there was one of those mall sportscard shows set up there, and there was this 8' folding table where Virgil (of "Million Dollar Man and" fame) sat, all alone, in front of a giant vinyl banner with his name on it. I kind of felt sorry for the guy.

I don't make it to many cons/shows, but I think "Virgil" has been at every one, and I've yet to see the poor guy have anyone in line to see him. Really depressing.

I've never met any pro-wrestlers, but my Mom had an interesting "run-in" with the Macho Man back in the late 70s. She managed a Hallmark store back then, and Macho Man came in to shop. He lived here in Cynthiana back then. He had a nasty shiner, and my mom, recognizing him as a local wrestler asked him "Tough night in the ring?" Randy responded, "No, it was that b$%#h Brenda Franklin!" My mom kept her mouth shut and took off her name badge while he wasn't looking, since her and Randy's girlfriend/attacker shared the same name!

Back in the late 90's i'm down in AC around like 1:00 in the morning losing my money .....

At the AC Hilton casino.

So i'm there in the toilet taking a wiz ......

Suddenly Virgil walks in.

I say, HEY, IT'S VIRGIL, WHAT'S UP ?
(at that time he was VINCENT)

He smiles at me and say's, HEY DUDE-- then does his business

I lost that night, but my toilet encounter with Virgil made my day

I found out later on he was there playing blackjack with Hall and 6 pack

Anyone ever met The Icon Sting. Is he coming back any time soon to TNA. TNA is good but they need to let Samoa Joe be champ and bring back Jeff Jarrett.
