Why do people keep going on and on and ON about this woman?! They act like we lost a freaking national treasure or something. She hadn't done anything worth mentioning in like 20 years.
You don't hear a peep any more about Robin Gibb, who was FAR more talented than Whitney Houston, and whose death was far more tragic, since he actually suffered and didn't accidentally do himself in with drugs and alcohol. Yet, they keep putting the washed up addict on a pedestal.

Go figure.
