Houston, I can't say the same for... You can count her number 1's on one hand (I think)
naw she had more #1's then that..but yea MJ and Elvis were in a different league when it came to stardom not talent

I don't understand the hate here...so she's mentioned in the news a lot (although not lately, at least to me), well, OK, she was a drug addict...but so was Elvis, Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, etc, and no one is hating on them.

She's gone now...no need to throw more dirt at her.
Yea she was one of the greatest voices ever...People seem to over do it when someone dies..it'll pass just give her her last 15 minutes

Addiction doesn't care if you're rich or poor. It does not discriminate. I feel sorry for anyone who has addiction problems. Some can be carried by the birth mother and a child can have it in their genes. Having dealt with some addictions myself i can relate. Thankfully i have been able to overcome them.

Sorry about the above, but I wanted to see how curmudgeonly I could sound. I do mean it, though.
Celebrity Tweets and Blogs are nothing more than an extension of them marketing themselves by saying something outrageous so the media
can cover it. many has been celebrities are now using it to flame a dying career going.....that's why i dismiss mostly all of them....I'd rather
hear from people who are making a difference in the world rather than hearing don't forget i have a new TV show coming and my new movie will be out
    shortly.......

I came across this blog that made me smile

http://joelrunyon.com/two3/an-unexpected-***-kicking sorry the link works but the museums ban of the word a s s blocks the link fix the word in the link and you'll get the page

as for Whitney Houston her estate still has to pay Taxes and you best get use to it cause they have to promo
her and still sell her image and music to pay those bills.......remember if you don't like something just turn it off.......

It's not throwing dirt.....she hadn't been relevant in 20 years.

I always felt a bit sorry for her, what with the kind of life she was leading with all of the drugs, and other drama.

She didn't deserve to die the way that she did; no one does.

The only good thing to come out of the entire debacle is that she is at peace now, and can't be harmed by her demons anymore.

I just hope that her daughter doesn't go down the same road, or we'll be mourning her loss in about ten or fifteen years; crying about what a waste of talent and potential.

People are only famous because society makes them that.

You can only half blame the media --- SOMEBODY has to eat it up.

I'm soooo out of it all I can't even name 1 song that was made after the 90's (seriously)

I jumped the ship and I am happy living in my own world of "classic" songs

You can't put on a radio station here without being blasted by "I will always love you". Like with Jackson, dying seems to be a real miracle fix. All of a sudden, you're no longer a freak/junkie/weirdo/drunk, but once again you're a pop icon. I think a lot of people prefer their idols dead, that way they can't do anything wrong anymore.

People seem to have a need to first worship somebody, then despise them, then love them again. Look what happened to Britney Spears and George Michael.

I think its because of Sparkle. A movie that has just been released. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparkle_(2012_film)

Im tired of the pedestal celebrities are put on altogether. Shows like Entertainment tonight use to go more in depth on the set of films and television show but now have been reduced to just entertainment gossup. I wonder how much of this gossup is true sometimes.

I wish it was more about the arts and less about the celebrity.
