I only have a bicycle. I get nervous when anything is behind me...Leave a comment:

I've got a buddy who is state highway patrol who says its fun to tail people for no reason. He rarely even bothers to run plates. He just likes to see people forced into obeying speed limits and finds it amusing. Yeah, he's a jerk.Leave a comment:

No...I'm an excellent driver...plus I have nothing to hide.
...and if I got stopped for a broken taillight or something...not a biggie.Leave a comment:

Yes....he was obviously suspicious of something. Maybe you were a few miles over the speed limit so thought by following you; he might be able to write you a ticket for something else. It has been years since I received a speeding ticket, but distinctly remember a police car u-turning after me and following me for about 2 miles before pulling me over. I did ask him why he didn't pull me over a couple of miles back where he asserted I was speeding rather than follow me. I don't remember his answer, but took it to court and won.Leave a comment:

Okay, this morning coming to work I past a State Trooper coming the other direction. He turned around just as I passed him and followed me the rest of the way up the road to a stop sign , a left turn and 2 right turns before he turned away.Followed me for almost 10 mins.I just bet he was hoping for a rolling stop or a swerve into the other lane. Made me nervous as heck. Does it kinda bother you when they follow like that, I mean , okay get close to run the plate, but back off then. He stayed on me the whole time.Tags: None
