There are also 30 million Mexican-Americans/legal resident Mexicans living in the USA...there's plenty of soccer fans here in the States as well.

The thing is that the media here...shows like ESPN...ignore or rag when foreign soccer teams win...but when USA wins...case in point women's team USA...they go gaga over it...that's the only aspect I don't like about soccer coverage here in the USA.

They are only going to focus on the home country. I really doubt that they are paying much attention to the U.S. Women's team in Mexico. I did come across Telemundo showing the Mexico win and the players going crazy. I'm sure they have been covering it on the Fox Soccer Channel and I'm pretty sure the games are being telivised live on MSNBC or the NBC Sports Channel.
