White Zombie was probably the loudest. But I saw Marlin Manson twice and Nine Inch Nails about 5 times.

What?!
What was the question?!
KISS. I had to go see my doctor after that. I had a whistling sound in my ears for two weeks.
I can really recommend booking seats next to the sound system....

I have seen hundreds of concerts but this one is easy for me. By far THE loudest one I ever attended was in DeKalb, Illinois at a small bar called Ottos. I saw Motorhead and Morbid Angel play there and I was about 6 feet away from the stage. After I left the show you could have set off a bomb behind me and I would have never heard it. It took a full day before my hearing returned to normal.

I worked retail and had to open the next morning which was a Sunday. I couldn't hear the intercom when people were using it, LOL...Comment

No idea how many shows I've seen at the old 9:30 Club, but I'll have to agree, GWAR was ridiculously loud. I can remember everything still sounding weird for a day or two afterward.
It was the Hell-O tour, so all the songs WERE the same.Comment

Cheap Trick in '82 at the multipurpose building on the CMSU campus, was sitting up front by the speakers all night and felt like my head was in a box for a couple of days after that. Had an oral exam in German class the day after the concert and could hardly hear the teacher LOLComment

The Group 'Boston'...3rd row from the stage...right in front of the speakers.
Took several days to get some hearing back...still get high-pitch squeals in my ears every once in a while...definitely caused some damage.Everyone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment

My first concert ever. Tommy James and the Shondells. I was 5. Mom got us back stage. Did I mention I was 5. It was deafening.
I did get to work onstage for OzzFest one year when I was doing concert security. I sat with my back to the speaker for 3 hours. I remember the Scorpions leaving a tingle up my spine 15 minutes after they had left the stage from the reverberations. Ozzy wasn't exactly quiet either. I couldn't hear for 2 days. Wouldn't have traded it for the world. Got to meet Ozzy. Cool guy, but can't understand a thing he says. The TV show wasn't exaggerating. He said something when I was introduced to him and I couldn't understand what he said so I just smiled and said "good to meet ya". After, I turned to the guy that was showing me around, and asked what he had said and he said " nobody knows what the **** Ozzy is saying". Years later when I saw the show I always laughed because I knew it wasn't staged and he really was like that. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

System of a Down/ RamStein / Silpnot .... I dunno When ..., But it was at the Tacoma Dome. Explosions ... Loud, Loud , Loud ! .... It was Nuts.
As far as Crowds ...., either Metallica around 1992 .. The Black Tour I believe... or Any Pantera Concert in the Late 90's.
It's all a Blur...... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

ACDC in 1988 i believe., maybe 89. But a very close second was Motley Crue at the Hartford Civic Center on the Girls Girls Girls tour. They actually created a small power outage cause they were using so much electricity at the show. I remember reading about it the next day in the Hartford Courant. I know much of my hearing loss today is from all the metal shows i saw in the 80's.Comment
