I would have him sign it. Like others have said it's not like it is a very valuable figure so as long as you enjoy it...go for it. He'll probably get a kick out of seeing it.

I do hope they are not gonna charge like 50.00 for a signature of his. That's what Adam West gets for his at shows and I think Burt Ward is like 30.00 but Erik's might only be 20.00 to get so with that said if you tried to sell the figure you'd lose money due to the cost of the signature.

I'd usually say don't have a toy signed but I think Chips Ponch might be the exception to my usual thought on it.
