Hey guys,I'm curious...I'm heading to the FX toy show this weekend and I have the Chips Ponch figure carded,Would you have him sign it? or do you think that'll ruin the figure value wise? what would you do? I'm leaning towards getting it signed
I certainly would if it was a figure I wasn't going to sell like the trek or apes but if it was a figure i wasn't really mad on (or the celebrity) then I would'nt bother. I've got a few Star Wars figures signed and no way would I part with them, reguardless of any value increase.
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....
i've gotten all the MASH figures signed over the years and many of the SW figures. I think it's personal preference really. I think they would sell either way. When I go to the Duke festival i want to buy the dukes of hazzard carded figures to get signed.
When i've shown my signed items before like that people tend to enjoy them more , but that's me. Any of the carded figures are the same but if you add a signature to me it's more fun and appealing.
Take a photo of him signing it to prove it was him. this should keep if not raise the value. Heck if your a fan who cares as long as it makes you happy.
if you like ponch/erik estrada then do it. make sure you get a pic of him signing it. better yet, make sure you're in the pic with him and the figure!!
