I don't know the names mostly, so I'll just describe them.
Also, haven't watched them in years, so it would probably change if I viewed the series now.

Really stuck in my mind as most fave was the one where they were in caves on a planet, and those huge pizza-looking blobs were killing off the cast members in the tunnels.
Also I vaguely remember one where then beamed down in a building and pancake blob things fell off the ceiling onto their faces, but that's all I remember. Apparently, I like blob beings.

I also really liked the one where the children took over the ship. Creepy chanting kids. Tribbles were cute, and yeah, Amok Time of course.

STNG Borg episodes will always be my fav. I like Data alot episodes too. And the one where Tasha Yar died was insane. Also, of note, killed by a blob-like being.
    OOPS, 13 year old spoiler!!

The new Trek movie is called The Wrath of the Blob, so you're in luck...

Right on, Mikey! I've always loved that episode! And after reading the ST:TNG novel VENDETTA where one of the planet killers returned and was revealed to be a weapon meant to be used against the Borg, I like it even more! Following closely on it's heels would be City on the Edge of Forever (can you really beat Harlan Ellison and TREK?), Balance of Terror, The Corbomite Manuever and Where No Man Has Gone Before.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Let's not forget "Let that be your last battlefield".
ST was always great in handling issues like racism without making it look like a lecture, but getting the point across anyhow...

Space Seed and Mirror Mirror. I would have a tough time picking one over the other.

Oh man, And the Children Shall Lead, along with Spock's Brain, has got to be one of the worst episodes!

I love the show and it'd be hard to choose, BUT...

there is one scene I love above all others but I do so for reasons other than all the many, many things that made the series great.

I don't the name, but its the one the Yangs (?) and the Comms (?) where Shatner reads the preamble to the Constitution. Its pure Shat gold!

My grandmother (who shaped much of my current TV preferences) turned me on to Star Trek as we would watch it together whenever I stayed over. Since "The Savage Curtain" was the very first episode I ever watched, it remains one of my favorites. Nothing beats seeing Abe Lincoln floating around on the viewscreen! The second episode was "Shore Leave" so that holds a place in my heart as well. Also, "All Our Yesterdays" is up there because two of my favorite Trek books are sequels to this ep. "Tomorrow is Yesterday" and "Yesterday's Son". If you like to read and haven't read those, do so. The premise is that Spock fathers a son to Zarabeth and they use the Guardian of Forever to go back to find him. Great reads.

My favorites are the one with the giant space amoeba, and the one where the natives feed the giant snake headed idol.

Oh, and any episode where Kirk fries a computer by asking it an impossible question!

The Way to Eden. Gotta love space hippies. It's really the only episode that has not aged very well. Charles Napier is just nutso when he jams with Spock!
