I know this has been discussed before, but I just finished watching Amok Time on Netflix. Gotta be one of my all time favorites....even though the fight scenes were done mostly by stunt men....still a great episode. Just wanted to see which episode were everyone's fav!

The original series for me is probably the Trouble With Tribbles or Arena...both are lots of fun.
TNG is the one where Riker is being taken every time he falls asleep by aliens that make these clicking noises and... probed....but he only thinks its nightmares. I saw it once when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. Anyone know the name of the episode?Last edited by spacecaps; Mar 14, '12, 8:25 PM."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment

I have a lot of faves, but I think the favortist fave is Devil In The Dark."Do you believe, you believe in magic?

TOS is a tough one cause I have so many favorites but I'll go with The City on the Edge of Forever.
TNG is easy. I don't remember the episode name. It's the one where the Enterprise keeps blowing up and then they cut to a commercial and they are back in time when it comes back on. They are caught in some kind of loop.Comment

Hard to choose just one. But Balance of Terror is at the top of my list of favs and has aged very well. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Balance of Terror. I love the "chess match" between Kirk and Mark Leonard's Romulan commander. The subplot about racial mistrust still resonates. And the death at the end gives the episode real consequences.
Admittedly, the end of Wrath of Khan borrows liberally from this episode, and arguably does it even better... but it is still my favorite.Comment

This is just too hard to choose.
Some great episodes were already mentioned (Doomsday weapon, Balance of terror, Arena, City on the Edge, Devil in the dark).
I just watched Doomsday weapon two days ago, and it's one of those perfect stories.
Maybe I should watch Spock's brain to even it out a bit....
