I feel your pain, Damien. Last May, my house was robbed, and over Christmas, someone stole a package, (a doll) off my porch that UPS had left, and now my house is red flagged from anything that can't fit in the mailbox. It sucks when it feels like nothing on your own property is safe.

Sorry to hear that Da. That really sucks man! What really blew me away was that is was a basketball hoop. These people are either really ballsy (no pun intended there) or really stupid. My guess is that it is the later of the two.

I cannot stress enough getting video cameras. They are the ultimate way to go. I have them up hidden and well concealed all over the place here as well as my other properties. I also have them linked together and recording 24/7. Knock on wood I have NEVER had any issues to date at any location. It is nice to be able to watch Phoenix AZ live from St. Louis or Lake of the O and vice versa.

Save yourself some more grief and get at least a couple of cameras to start with. Then add more as you wish later. The heck with moving away. That is crap man. Catch those rat *******s red handed and then move later if you still really want to leave there.

Definitely the way to go Da if you can swing it. It will give you a total piece of mind.

Once installed and up and running I would bait those thieves and catch them red handed. Just make sure that the cameras are well concealed when they are installed. That way the thieves will hopefully not see them and be scared off. Unless of course they are watching your moves.

It kind of sounds like it may be someone close by as they seem to know when you come and go. Either way even if they do catch word of the cameras I doubt they will be of further problem to you.

Another thing to. Something you can do before you get the cameras up. You may want to just hop in your car and take a short ride up the street and come right back in a few to see if something is going on at your place while they "think" that you are gone.

yea bro, i have the adt stickers I had ADT until I installed the impact windows and the idiots ripped off the sensors not ADT wants $700 to reinstall them, so we changed company..the new stuff will be here in2 days..thanx bro

Bummer that you had to switch...I'm a Operations Manager at ADT...I could have helped you out.

Sometimes just having a few signs and window stickers is a good deterrent but when you're getting your stuff stolen it doesn't make you feel safe. Hope everything works with the new system.
