No you're not alone, zero interest. I understand the game, played defensive line in College, just don't watch sports on TV.

I was actually invited to a Super Bowl party today where the host offered to pick me up, feed me, get me drunk and drive me home. I'm sitting here talking to you guys instead.

70% of the "not interested" so far are Canadian. Just saying.

I think most people who dont like sports just dont understand the rules to the game my wife hated hockey until my son started paying it and she was forced to learn the rules now she loves it. Football is my favorite sport so yeah I will be watching the game.

Actually, I do know most of the rules to football, baseball, soccer, and basketball. I'm a teacher, and used to play w/ my after school group on the playground. But that was part of my job. I don't like watching it, or playing when I don't have to. I just find it BORING!!!

I have absolutely no interest in football or any other sport for that matter. however, my 10 yr old son likes it so we started a family tradition of getting a bunch of munchies and watching it every year...mostly for the commercials and halftime show

Just never had any interest in watching a bunch of guys slam the crap out of each other over a football.

I guess it's largely due to the fact that my father, God rest his soul, watched a little football, but was never a football fanatic and never really sat down WITH me to watch a game and my brother had possibly even less interest in football than I do!!!

Well, it's glad to know I'm NOT alone. After hitting Wal-Mart for milk earlier and a couple of other places, I was beginning to FEEL like the only person in America who doesn't watch the Superbowl!

In honor of said Superbowl (or, more accurately, one of it's commercials) I may add in a little ESB and FERRIS BUELLER along with Hobbits, Elves, Mages and a Gollum....

I'm with you emerald - I have very little interest in sports in general.

Having said that, my wife is a big sports fan - so I'll be pigging out and drinking beers at a Superbowl party at a friends house - possibly thumbing through magazines and books from time to time. I can't even look forward to the half-time show this year. Sigh.
